At £35, the designs have been such a hit that the brand, founded by former model Susie Cave, has begun to release secret drops to its newsletter subscribers.

When the masks were introduced in May, 700 sold out in 6 minutes. The British Fashion Council has also announced a stylish masks initiative to answer fashion followers’ desire for chic face coverings.

From June 15, the same day that masks become mandatory on public transport, the ‘Great British Designer Face Coverings’ collection will be available at Boots, Asos, John Lewis & Partners, Sainsbury’s and Argos.
