Bosses on ITV's Coronation Street are believed to be keen to keep the famous soap opera running despite other programmes coming to an abrupt halt amid the current coronavirus outbreak.
Sources claim that any scenes that are set to feature kissing or any similar contact are being rewritten to ensure that "limited physical contact" between the stars.
It's been reported that a cast member was allegedly sent home after displaying symptoms of coronavirus before they were allowed to return to the set based in Salford.
