Conor McGregor has told Nate Diaz to “shut your eye lid and sign the contract” in what could be a hint about a trilogy between the pair.
The fighters have faced each other in the octagon on two occasions and have shared the spoils with one win apiece. They first met in a welterweight clash at UFC 196 in 2016 with the American earning victory via submission in the second round.
Five months later they slugged it out in the rematch but this time McGregor got his vengeance with a majority decision. The pair have traded barbs ever since then and talk of a trilogy has got fans excited that it could happen.
