The boxing promoter and undefeated former champion was asked which of the two 50-plus year-old legends he was backing to win the fight, which is scheduled to take place on 12 September.
But, in a video which he shared on social media, Mayweather refused to give away whom his money was on and simply spoke about his own pedigree. “I think that we seem to forget about who’s the pioneer of making exhibition bouts huge”, he said in a video interview with American rapper Fat Joe.
