Conor McGregor has only just retired - but he is already eyeing his next bout after calling out Manny Pacquiao. The UFC superstar announced he was giving up the sport for the third time in four years just a few weeks ago.
He was sent a birthday message from boxing legend Pacquiao as he turned 32 this week. And McGregor hinted he was keen on doing battle as he replied: "Thank you Emmanuel, 170." The post seemed to indicate the Irishman calling out Pacquiao for a fight at 170lbs, but it was unclear form the short message whether he wants to do battle in a boxing ring or The Octagon.
McGregor made the crossover to boxing for his money-spinning bout with Pacquiao's rival, Floyd Mayweather, back in August 2017.
