Justin Gaethje is the latest UFC star to take aim at Conor McGregor in the wake of his defeat at the hands of Dustin Poirier.
Irish icon McGregor suffered the first knockout loss of his career as American Poirier scored an impressive second-round victory last weekend.
It marked the second fight between the pair, with McGregor winning the first bout in dominant fashion back in 2014. Despite his recent defeat at UFC 257, the former two-division champion called for a trilogy fight with Poirier - this time with the UFC's lightweight belt on the line.
But former interim champion Gaethje labelled McGregor an "idiot" over his demands as he revelled in the 32-year-old's latest defeat. "I think he’s (McGregor's) an elite fighter," Gaethje told
