Conor McGregor has been urged to “destroy utter clown” Jake Paul to kick-start his route back to UFC glory. The Notorious is planning out his next move after suffering a defeat to Dustin Poirier in his first fight for a year.
One of the options is a bout against Paul, who has fought to two victories in the boxing ring. The YouTuber called out the Irishman, who lost to Floyd Mayweather in gloves three years ago, throughout his preparation for UFC 257 with some mocking videos.
McGregor’s only comments on Paul came days before his defeat to Poirier, calling him a “confused little kid”. But Joe Duffy, who was the second man to beat McGregor in the Octagon 11 years ago, believes he should consider taking on the 24-year-old.
