Conchata Ferrell, 77, is fighting to stay alive after being moved to a long-term care facility from complications from an infection that she battled between December and January, according to TMZ.
The Two and a Half Men star, known to fans as Charlie Sheen‘s quick-witted maid, Berta, on the sitcom, was in the ICU for roughly four weeks after falling ill — the illness was likely related to her previous infection.
Unfortunately, things didn’t get better for the actress in ICU. She went into cardiac arrest for about 10 minutes, leading to her subsequent transfer to a long-term care facility, where she is currently stable in the respiratory unit.
