billboard.comThe music legend's selections are informed by a new collaboration with his Palm Springs neighbor Barry Manilow. Like most of the rest of us mere mortals, legendary music executive and producer Clive Davis has been quarantining at home during the coronavirus pandemic.
Also like many of us, he’s been using this time of social distancing to listen to lots and lots of music. Over six decades in the business, Davis shepherded the careers of some of the most legendary performers of the 20th century, from Whitney Houston to Aretha Franklin to Janis Joplin to Bruce Springsteen.
But while most his age tend to lean on the old classics, Davis makes a concerted effort to keep up with the biggest hitmakers of today.
