Cineworld has delayed the reopening of its UK and US cinemas by more than two weeks as it emerges from the coronavirus lockdown.
The firm will now begin screening films again on July 31 instead of July 10, citing adjustments to the schedule of upcoming movie releases.
It warned: "Upcoming reopenings remain subject to final clarifications and confirmation in relation to various government COVID-19 restrictions".
Health and safety measures will include seating capacity limits, social distancing rules, sanitisation procedures and contactless payments.
