A mum has shared her experience of being bombarded with calls from strangers attempting their best Chewbacca impressions after her ex-boyfriend plastered her number around town as a revenge prank for ending their relationship. The Star Wars-themed joke promised a £51 ($100 AUS) reward for the 'best' Chewie impression, and Jessica Sewell, 33, a Queensland-based mother of three, soon found herself receiving calls at all hours from hopeful impersonators.
Despite the annoyance of constant calls, Jessica told the media she found the prank rather amusing.Speaking to 9News, she said: "I thought it was quite funny actually, I thought it was a good joke.
This has got to be the most childish break-up I've ever had. All he had to do was say 'I don't love you anymore, I wanna move on."Jessica disclosed that the couple parted ways after she discovered he had been messaging other women on his Facebook account.
His spiteful prank, however, only seemed to confirm her decision to end the relationship was the right one. After enduring two weeks of voicemails filled with Wookiee growls, Jessica's patience began to wear thin as the incessant ringing started to disrupt her children's sleep.
