Chelsea owner Todd Boehly could further his pursuit to follow the Red Bull model by bringing in RB Leipzig's technical director having overseen a medical for star player Christopher Nkunku.

The Blues co-owner, chairman and interim sporting director has been open about his plans to create a multi-club model in the style of both Manchester City and Red Bull GmbH.Taking that interest one step further, Chelsea are reportedly negotiating terms over the transfer of Nkunku while adding their club chief to a list of candidates. With Chelsea looking for both a sporting director and technical director, the report adds that interview process will step up next month.Vivell, who has been a director at Leipzig since back in 2020, has responsibility over transfers and scouting having previously been at Salzburg alongside Freund.
