Experts have found a £12 supermarket champagne that 'tastes better than' more expensive brands. A panel of judges was set up to try out 19 non-vintage Champagnes - including 14 own-label supermarket offerings - which, in my opinion, sounds like the best job in the world.
They also tried five widely available Champagnes from big-name brands to find the best drinks for Christmas. Each of the judges tasted the drinks blind and in a different order 'to avoid any bias'.
