Criminal Minds: Evolution is returning for another season!

Joe Otterson TV Reporter “Criminal Minds: Evolution” has been renewed for Season 19 ahead of the Season 18 premiere, Variety has learned. Season 18 of the series will debut on Paramount+ on May 8, with new episodes dropping weekly thereafter. “Evolution” picks up after the events of the original “Criminal Minds,” which aired on CBS for 15 seasons.

The 10-episode new season of Criminal Minds: Evolution has released its key art and trailer in advance of its debut next month.

Paramount+ has slotted Thursday, June 6 for the season 2 premiere of Criminal Minds: Evolution. The first two episodes will drop on June 6, followed by new episodes weekly on Thursdays. The streamer also released some first-look images, which you can see above and below.

Joe Otterson TV Reporter Felicity Huffman is joining “Criminal Minds: Evolution” Season 2 in a guest star role, Variety has learned. Huffman will appear in the second season of the Paramount+ continuation of the CBS series as a new character named Dr. Jill Gideon, the ex-wife of Jason Gideon.

Criminal Minds: Evolution fans apparently will be saying goodbye to longtime cast member Josh Stewart. The actor today posted on X (fka Twitter) that “sadly, my days of playing Will LaMontagne Jr. are over,” adding “You guys have been the absolute best.”
