Jennifer Garner has a new Christmas movie in the works at Netflix!

EXCLUSIVE: Following her work with Netflix on its popular family films Family Leave and Yes Day, as well as The Adam Project, the sci-fi pic with Ryan Reynolds marking one of its biggest to date in terms of viewership, Jennifer Garner is back in business with the streamer after signing on to star in its holiday comedy, Mrs. Claus, sources tell Deadline.

And while Leah McKendrick’s feature debut offers more caustic com than rom, it leans hard into the legacy of Helen Fielding’s famously underachieving singleton. Since then, we’ve had Paul Feig’s Bridesmaids and Sophie Hyde’s Animals, and Scrambled certainly belongs in that more riotous subgenre of movies about women behaving badly.

Jennifer Love Hewitt and her former costar Freddie Prinze Jr. are both in talks to potentially return for a long-awaited sequel to their 1997 slasher film I Know What You Did Last Summer.Hewitt, 43, and Prinze, 46, are being considered to return for a transitional horror film that will pair them with a mostly new cast, Deadline reported on Monday.The news comes after Amazon attempted to reboot the franchise with a series starring new actors on Prime Video, but it was canceled after just one season in last 2021. Jennifer Kaytin Robinson is set to direct the horror feature.The upcoming sequel is currently in the early stages of development, insiders told the publication.  Back for more chills: Jennifer Love Hewitt, 43, and Freddie Prinze Jr., 46, are in talks to return for a sequel in the I Know What You Did Last Summer franchise, Deadline reported on Monday Creepy: Hewitt and Prinze starred in the original film with Sarah Michelle Gellar — who later married Prinze — and Ryan Phillippe as friends who accidentally hit a pedestrian with the car.

Sundance Film Festival regular Brett Haley has been tapped to helm Paramount'sGrease prequel, Summer Loving. The feature is based on a song that comes early on in the classic 1978 musical that starred John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John as high school teens from opposite worlds.
