Charli XCX has announced the release of her fifth studio album Crash, expected to drop March 18, 2022. In addition to sharing the record's blood-splattered artwork, Charli has also dropped a new song - New Shapes, featuring fellow experimental pop stars Christine and the Queens and Caroline Polachek.
New Shapes follows the lead of Crash's lead single Good Ones, immersing Charli in a thoroughly 80s aesthetic, which sounds directly inspired by the likes of Madonna, Laura Brannigan and in this case, Janet Jackson's Control album.
