Channel 4 documentary Bring Back The Bush had viewers divided as the programme questioned why so many modern women removed their pubic hair.
Host and body positivity activist Chidera Eggerue decided that for the benefit of the programme she would grow out her pubic hair for six weeks, and had four of her influencer pals join her.
The documentary delved into the reasons why women feel the need to remove their pubic hair, including shame, porn, and boyfriends.
Different women recounted their experiences of the first time they realised they felt pressure to remove their pubic hair, of their own accord or due to others.
