School kids across Falkirk are being encouraged to write a letter of kindness to the people fleeing war-torn Ukraine. The idea has been created by a man, who at first, was taking clothes donations for those most in need.
Tom Dodd ended up with 5,000 bags of clothing and other items - including 12 hand knitted hat and scarf sets - which were donated by a 91-year-old woman.

He was worried that not every parent might be able to afford to donate items to his clothing bank.Tom is going to travel to Poland to personally deliver items from his collection and the letters.
