CELEBRITY SAS: Who Dares Wins stars have revealed they were injured during filming but kept their “agony” a secret. The Channel 4 series returns tonight with 14 famous recruits leaving their glamorous lives behind to be put through the most gruelling stages of the special forces selection process.
Olympian athlete Fatima Whitbread, 61, and British Paralympian Jonathan Broom-Edwards, 34, have revealed the filmed in the Middle East was so tough both sustained injuries.
Jonathan had "a couple of ribs broken" towards the end of the gruelling week, telling The Sun: "The thing is if you've got no evidence of lung puncture, it's pretty much like you are good to go.
So I think I was in for a day and a half with my ribs. I had to try and manage it, but yeah just carried on." Fatima – who is the oldest contestant on this series - explained how her injury happened when the new SAS: Who Dares Wins recruits were told to jump out of a helicopter into the ocean on the first day.
