The 52-year-old actor, who is also known for starring in Heartbeat, spilled the beans about his character David's future struggles on the BBC medical drama.
He told Christine Lampard on Lorraine that in the next couple of episodes viewers will see David's "hour by hour struggle" with just managing his mental health condition.
The actor added that David "can't talk to his wife Rosa", and he's "terrified of opening up to her" as he believes she'll break up with him if she finds out the truth.Jason said: "It's terribly sad."He explained that the doctor needs structure and routine to help him cope.
