The heartbroken mother of Harry Dunn appeared on Lorraine on Monday where she spoke to host Christine Lampard about her son's death and her fight for justice.
Emotional Charlotte Charles said time would never heal her pain, but she could only hope that the time between the "bouts of pain" would eventually become longer.
She said it would take her a long time to forgive both governments, but her campaign to close the “anomaly” loophole which allowed Anne Sacoolas, 42, to claim diplomatic immunity has been successful.
But she said she promised her late son Harry, 19, that she would bring him justice by convincing Sacoolas to come back to the UK to face trial, and she has never broken a promise to any of her children.
