Covidiot Londoners who flouted life-saving restrictions to go on a New Year’s Eve jolly to Brighton have been slapped with a fine.

Police on the south coast pulled the car, filled to the brim with five people, over before the gang claimed they were only going to pick up a takeaway.The dimwits tried to convince Sussex Police that they had driven 50-miles to collect their grub.Police didn’t buy it and soon handed out fines for ignoring their Tier Four status, which means they should have stayed at home in the capital.Takeaways are still open in Tier 4 areas and people are allowed to leave their homes to pick them up but you're not meant to leave your local area unless it's for an absolutely essential reason such as work and education.
