Captain Tom Moore has captured the nation's hearts thanks to his incredible efforts of raising more than £30million for the NHS heroes by walking 100 laps of his garden.
But the war hero, who has been promoted to Honorary Colonel for his 100th birthday, was actually first on our screens more than three decades ago.
BBC Breakfastgave Captain Moore a surprise flashback to his appearance on popular gameshow Blankety Blank in a 1983 Christmas special.
TV host Terry Wogan was seen having banter with Tom and asked him where he's from. "Tipp's End," the 63-year-old replied and assured that it's "a good place".
