mirror.co.ukBritain's Got Talent lost only 450,000 viewers in last night's semi final compared to the previous week. The drop in viewing figures comes as Diversity's Black Lives Matter anti-racism performance attracted more than 15,000 complaints to Ofcom.
The dance troupe that once won the show performed a routine where they reenacted the tragic death of George Floyd as a dancer dressed as a police officer knelt on Ashley Banjo's neck.
Many members of the public vowed to boycott the show arguing BLM was "too political", but the programme was still the highest rated of the day.
