Premier League's Project Restart has been given government approval to kick off from June 1 by the government's new Covid-19 measures.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson released new measures during the coronavirus pandemic on Sunday. And top-flight football organisers have been coming up with a plan to see out the remaining 92 games for the 2019/20 season.
And a 60-page document has now stated that these can take place after June 1. According to the dossier, the government is looking at "permitting cultural and sporting events to take place behind closed-doors for broadcast, while avoiding the risk of large-scale social contact." Liverpool currently sit top of the Premier League by 25 points, leading champions Manchester City.
