A car and a lorry collided on Stamford Square at around 2.15pm on Monday. The driver of one of the vehicles was taken to hospital where he sadly died.
Police believe the man suffered a medical episode behind the wheel. The driver of the second vehicle remained at the scene and is assisting police with enquiries.
