Bolton council leader warns of 'danger of unrest' if local lockdown imposed

David Greenhalgh, the only Conservative council leader in Greater Manchester, has been extremely vocal in opposition of previous local restrictions placed on Bolton in the past 14 months.

Yesterday (Tuesday May 18) it was revealed that the coronavirus infection rate in one area of Bolton is now nearly 50 times higher than the national average, according to the latest figures.
