Police are probing the 'unexplained' death of a Glasgow man whose body was found in the River Clyde this morning. George McAuley’s body was recovered from the water near Clydebrae Street after officers received a call at around 8.45am on Friday.
The 43-year-old had been reported missing on October 25. In a statement released on social media on Friday night, Greater Glasgow Police division said: “We were called to Clydebrae Street in Glasgow around 8.45am on Friday, 12 November, following a report of a person in the water.“The body of a man was recovered and the death is being treated as unexplained pending further enquiries.“The man has been identified as George McAuley, 43, who had been reported missing on Monday, 25 October.
