dailystar.co.ukTwitter user on holiday in Mexico claims the hotel room cleaner found their hidden supply of Ketamine in their hotel room and took it before sparking out on the bed. “One of my pals come back to this in his hotel room,” he wrote, alongside a picture of a man wearing a hotel staff cap and polo shirt apparently in the grip of a major ketamine experience.“Only come back from breakfast to find the cleaner had found my bag of Special K,” wrote the holidaymaker. “Silly c*** must have thought it was cowie [cocaine].
Found him in a Ket hole in the room”.Ketamine is a powerful anaesthetic used mainly by vets. It’s also used in very small doses as a party drug.
But as it’s often found in the form of a white powder it can be mistaken for other drugs such as cocaine or speed.That’s what the Twitter user thinks happened in this case, with the holidaymaker returning to his room to find a member of hotel staff sprawled on his bed and looking seriously altered.The effects of a strong dose of ketamine, described by users as "falling into a k-hole” are like being completely cut off from reality, with the rest of the Universe going on about its business without you.Ketamine is also known to have been used by attackers in so-called “date rape” cases.The unfortunate hotel cleaner was shown being helped out of the room by a colleague.Side-effects of the drug can include high blood pressure and a racing heartbeat, loss of co-ordination, some short-term memory loss and mind/body dissociation.
