Police have launched an appeal to track down a Scots man described by Angus locals as looking "all black and blue". Michael Nicoll was last seen leaving a Tesco supermarket in Arbroath at around 5.30pm on Monday May 2.
Police say they are concerned for the Arbroath man's welfare after an earlier appeal to identify him saw residents come forward on social media to say he appeared to have facial injuries.
The 34-year-old is described as between 5ft 11ins and 6ft in height, of average build with short brown hair. When last seen he was wearing a maroon top, blue jeans and grey trainers.
He wears glasses. Police made an appeal earlier on Monday in a bid to identify Michael, with a missing persons notice issued later that night.
