shopper was left disgusted after he spotted two birds flying around B&M as they pooed all over the aisles. Liam Smith, 31, said he abandoned his items following the chaotic scenes at the Cheadle Heath branch in Stockport.He said he spotted the mischievous birds, believed to be pigeons, hovering above customers before they targeted the shelves. He said he left in a rush because he "couldn't afford to get an infection."Speaking about the shocking conditions, Liam said: "I'd been in the Morrisons next door and funnily enough I thought I'd kill two birds with one stone and nip into B&M.""And when I got in there actually were two birds!"I didn't see them straight away," he said. "Then after a bit I caught a glimpse of them flying around above me, and perching quite high up."There were feathers dropping down below.

Then they started coming down. They were literally stood on the shelves and were pecking at the pet food."There was also bird poo on the floor in a couple of places.

One looked fresh but one looked like it might have been there a while."Liam, who lives in Reddish, said he left the store without complaining to staff."I just wanted to get out at that point and left pretty much straight away," he said. "I have just been diagnosed with an illness and I can't afford to get an infection so I just left."However, he said he tweeted the brand and emailed them afterwards and received no response."It's disappointing really.
