Manchester United fan despite being a Chelsea season ticket holder and bidding to buy the Blues.Ratcliffe and his Ineos firm have reportedly submitted a late offer to purchase Chelsea from Roman Abramovich and swoop in ahead of the three other bidders for the club.

We are the only British bid. Our motives are simply to try and create a very fine club in London.
