Bill Withers cause of death has been confirmed as cardiac arrest. The Ain't No Sunshine singer died last month at the age of 81, his family confirmed in an emotional statement at the time.
According to his death certificate, which was seen by TMZ, Withers' immediate cause of death was a cardiopulmonary arrest. The underlying causes are listed as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and bradyarrhythmia.
It revealed that Withers died on March 30 at 10:44 AM at Providence Tarzana Regional Medical Center in California. When he died it was reported that he had been suffering from a heart condition at the time of his death.
