Simon Cowell
Simon Phillip Cowell (born 7 October 1959) is an English television personality, businessman and record executive. He has judged on the British television talent competition series Pop Idol (2001–2003), The X Factor (2004–2010, 2014–present) and Britain's Got Talent (2007–present), and the American television talent competition series American Idol (2002–2010), The X Factor (2011–2013), and America's Got Talent (2016–present). Cowell is the principal, founder and chief executive of the British entertainment company Syco.

Amanda Louise Holden (born 16 February 1971) is an English media personality, actress, television presenter, singer, and author. She has judged on the television talent show competition Britain's Got Talent since the show began its run in 2007 on ITV. As an actress, Holden played the role of Mel in Kiss Me Kate (1998–2000), Geraldine Titley in The Grimleys (1999-2001), Sarah Trevanion in Wild at Heart (2006–2008), Lizzie, the Ring Mistress, in Big Top (2009), and the title role in Thoroughly Modern Millie, for which she was nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award.

Britain’s Got Talent fans have been continuously baffled by one of this year’s acts who have never shown their face.The Phantom is known for his magic and trickery, but has yet to reveal his or her identity to the audience.They represent themselves as a vintage brown office chair and often call upon the judges to come up on stage and help them with their performance.However, despite their best efforts and baffling tricks, they didn’t manage to win over the judges and dance troupe Five Star Boys landed a place in the semi finals.The Phantom’s semi-finals performance received much scrutiny from audiences as they took to Twitter to talk about the act.Many said that they were confused at the attempt which saw Amanda Holden “disappear” and then “read David Walliams’ mind”.Audiences at home also said that the hard-to-follow show went on for too long and left them wondering why they had so much air time.Since The Phantom’s departure, fans of Britain’s Got Talent have been racking their brains and trying to figure out who is behind the deceit.During the show, Simon Cowell was visibly confused and stated that it was “pointless” while David tried to defend the magician, but to no avail.Many viewers agreed with Cowell and turned to Twitter once more to complain about The Phantom.An irritated fan had a lot to say: “Phantom messed up that act big time.
