Britain's Got Talent judge Simon Cowell gave an impassioned speech after an act broke down in tears on stage during the ITV talent show final.
Alesha Dixon's Golden Buzzer act Flintz and T4ylor wowed judges with an emotional rap song. But the moment proved a little much for rapper Flintz as he appeared to forget his words.
Afterwards the judges heaped praise and pleaded with him to move on. Singer and rapper Alesha said: "Listen, artist to artist, it doesn't matter what anyone tells you tonight, you'll feel bad for this." And she advised: "What you guy have achieved far outweighs any teeny tiny mistake you made up there." You smashed it." But Simon Cowell prompted complaints when he spelled out a swear word before the watershed. Apologising to his eight-year-old son Eric in advance he said: "Who gives a s*** if you forget lyrics?" And he told them it was their 'best performance so far' in the competition.
