Simon Phillip Cowell (born 7 October 1959) is an English television personality, businessman and record executive. He has judged on the British television talent competition series Pop Idol (2001–2003), The X Factor (2004–2010, 2014–present) and Britain's Got Talent (2007–present), and the American television talent competition series American Idol (2002–2010), The X Factor (2011–2013), and America's Got Talent (2016–present). SIMON Cowell was forced to apologise to his eight-year-old son after swearing during the live Britain's Got Talent final. The BGT mogul, 62, turned the air blue while chatting to finalists Flintz & Taylor following their performance.

Unfortunately, the duo had made a big mistake while on stage and it even left judge Alesha Dixon in tears. Rapper Flintz was overcome with nerves and forgot his words shortly after their song had begun.

But attempting to make the 23-year-old feel better, Simon swore live on air. He spelt out the word 's***', despite it being before the 9pm watershed.
