Britain’s Got Talent 2022.The fifteenth series of the ITV talent show ended with a bang on Sunday night (June 5) after the talented act gave a stellar performance at the grand final.After religiously watching the show for weeks, millions of viewers up and down the country placed Jamie Leahey in second place with Tom Ball placing third.As well as bagging an eye-watering cash prize of £250,000, Axel Blake also landed a spot on the bill at the Royal Variety Performance later this year as he prepares to give an incredible performance for several senior members of the Royal Family.The 33-year-old funnyman won over head judge Simon Cowell with his first audition after the comic gave a stellar performance at the London Palladium six weeks earlier.Since then, the stand up star has gone on to receive bigger and bigger belly-laughs from the judges as well as the millions of fans tuning in up and down the country.
The entertainer blew away viewers during his final sketch on the show which landed him the top spot on the show as well as the all-important Royal Variety Show gig.
But not everyone at home was impressed with the outcome of the talent show, as fans swarmed to Twitter branding the ITV show "fixed".One user penned: "BIGGEST FIX EVER, He Was Not Funny NOT a Talent, It Wants Baning This Show #BGT." Another agreed: "What a load of s***e, the winner is a professional 'comedian' who isn't even funny.
Just happens to be the shows creator and exec producers golden buzzer act. #Fix #BGT." A third fumed: "There's a reason I stopped watching @BGT years ago.
