BBC Radio DJ Gilles Peterson's stalker found guilty after harassing him and his family

A woman, who regularly screamed abuse at DJ Gilles Peterson and his family, has been found guilty of stalking and harassment.

Sarah Rook of Surbiton was labelled "frantic and extreme" by Mr Peterson, and hurled "racist words" towards his Japanese wife outside their London home, Stratford Magistrates' Court heard.

The incidents took place between February and March outside his home and work. Rook denied the charges and will be sentenced on 22 June.

Mr Peterson said she had she shouted "very extreme words" at him and his wife, and accused him of being a "paedophile" and a "rapist". "It was a very traumatic situation.
