Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are "very money-driven", according to a former royal correspondent. According to Richard Mineards, who has moved close to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex in Montecito, California, the couple are "very happy at the moment" in their grand LA mansion with their two children Archie, two, and baby Lilibet.

When they first moved into the 7-acre property in 2020, it was worth £10.9million ($14.7m), but Richard claims it would now sell for £4.5million ($6m) more as a result of the 43 per cent rise in house prices in the area. The expert said the increase in value would be well received by the royal pair as he told the Evening Standard: “I think they’re very money driven (with their) Spotify and Netflix and whatever other deals they can come across and also registering their companies in Delaware which is a more tax free community."
