Lisa Shaw died in hospital after suffering blood clots following her AstraZeneca vaccination, her family have said. BBC radio presenter Lisa's death at the age of just 44 was announced earlier this week, leaving her listeners in shock.

Her family have now issued a statement claiming that she developed severe headaches after having her vaccine before falling ill.They said: "She was treated by the RVI's [Royal Victoria Infirmary] intensive care team for blood clots and bleeding in her head. "Tragically she passed away, surrounded by her family, on Friday afternoon.
