BBC Breakfast's Sally Nugent and Jon Kay BOTH ditched the studio in a major format shake-up. Last week, the presenters were not in the studio together as Jon presented live from Downing Street to cover Liz Truss's appointment as the new Conservative Party Leader and Prime Minister.
Today, following the death of The Queen last Thursday, neither of them were on the BBC Breakfast sofa in Salford. Jon, 52, was up in Edinburgh, following the arrival of The Queen's coffin from Balmoral on Sunday.
The late Monarch will lie in state there for 24 hours for members of the public to view the coffin before her final journey continues to London.
Meanwhile Sally, 51, was outside Buckingham Palace in London presenting her parts of the show.
