The Queen’s coffin arrived in London last night after making its final journey from Edinburgh and will be moved again later today.
There were emotional scenes as as Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II embarked on her final journey after a night in St Giles' Cathedral in Edinburgh, where over 20,000 people came to pay their respects Following her death on 8 September, and as per tradition, the late monarch’s coffin is now to make its way to Westminster Hall for lying in state where members of the public will be able to pay their respects to the Queen.
Today at 2:22pm, a procession will take place from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Hall as the King and his sons walk behind the coffin for its journey.
