Meghan Markle has paid a poignant tribute to Her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II at her funeral by ensuring every part of her outfit was about the monarch.The Duchess of Sussex, 41, supported her husband Prince Harry, 38, as they attended both the State Funeral at Westminster Abbey and the committal service at Windsor Castle on Monday 19 September.
Wearing a fitting all-black ensemble for the sombre day, Meghan made sure the focus was solely on the late sovereign as every part of her outfit held sentimental meaning.
Meghan opted to wear the black version of a midi cape dress by Stella McCartney that she previously donned to a concert at the Royal Albert Hall back in 2018, which was held to celebrate the Queen's 92nd birthday.
Meanwhile, her wide-brimmed translucent asymmetric hat, which she styled with a chignon bun, was the black version of the same headpiece she wore to the Queen's Platinum Jubilee earlier this year.
