BBC Breakfast star John Maguire had to apologise for his choice of outfit after Sally Nugent questioned the rogue choice live on air.
The 51-year-old presenter returned to the red sofa for Wednesday's programme after being replaced by Nina Warhurst on yesterday's show as she left to interview Roger Federer about his retirement from tennis.
Sally joined regular co-host Jon Kay and the duo spoke to their correspondent John who was live from Loch Ness in the Scottish Highlands with Ross Edgley.
