BBC Breakfast presenter Dan Walker left his colleagues fairly amused on Wednesday morning after he admitted that he enjoys taking the bins out.The 45-year-old who is often open about his pursuits outside of his BBC role couldn't help but make the odd confession in front of his co-host Nina Warhurst and sports journalist John Watson. But his admission appeared to amuse Nina and John as they seemed perplexed that he would enjoy such a job.Talking about taking the bins outside, Nina questioned Dan and said: "Did you just it's one of your favourite jobs, why?" Dan replied: "I just love it!" Nina giggled: "Because it's short." The former Strictly star then explained that the job is similar to cutting the grass which he also finds satisfying.John chimed in and said: "I suppose it's an easy job for big reward, perhaps.

You're doing your bit. "You're doing your bit for the environment," he laughed.Dan responded: "I know there are bigger things in life John but I quite enjoy separating."However, the mockery didn't stop there, as weather forecaster Carol Kirkwood later told Dan that "he was talking garbage, literally."On Tuesday morning, former sports presenter Dan landed himself in hot water with viewers as they complained that he was "too soft" on Conservative MP Brandon Lewis.

The Secretary of State for Northern Ireland appeared on the show to discuss Boris Johnson's partygate fines whether refugees being sent to Rwanda was a good idea.

Despite the fact that the interview went smoothly, many viewers were annoyed that Dan didn't challenge the MP enough. Taking to Twitter in their droves, fannoyed spectators shared their thoughts.
