EastEnders legend Barbara Windsor doesn't know who her husband Scott Mitchell is at times, amid her battle with Alzheimer's disease.
The British icon was first diagnosed with the chronic neurodegenerative disease in 2014 after a number of tests and brain scans, amid a change in behaviour.
Barbara filmed her final scenes as soap legend Peggy Mitchell in 2016, two years on and while battling early dementia. It wasn't until 2018 that she went public with her diagnosis, and the fact her beloved husband Scott was helping care for her as her condition deteriorated.
