The 42-year-old appeared on Secrets From The Square tonight with co-star Kellie Bright as they spoke about their time on the soap.
He gave host Stacey Dooley a tour of the boozer as he reminisced about a letter he had received from the Peggy Mitchell legend. "When I got the part - and I'd never met her - she sent me a postcard giving me her blessing that I could have [the Queen Vic]," he said. "And I was like, 'Oh, wow'. "And Kellie was like, 'I didn't get one of them!' and got the right hump about it." Danny and Kellie's chemistry on screen is unquestionable - and the former also couldn't help make a joke
