A woman who worked 70-hour weeks at Asda during lockdown took her own life, an inquest has heard. "Compassionate" Hannah-Mae Homer, 23, who was "visibly upset", was found dead at a beauty spot on July 1.
Emergency services rushed to the scene at Saltwells Local Nature Reserve in Dudley just after 2.30pm, but she was pronounced dead.
Black Country Coroner's Court in Oldbury was told Ms Homer was "visibly upset" after a series of messages and a phone call linked to the breakdown of a relationship.
She was later found hanged, the court heard on Monday. A toxicology report discovered she had 154mg/per 100ml of alcohol in her system, Birmingham Live reports.
