Buckingham Palace announced the Duke of Edinburgh's death just after midday, saying the Royal Family were “mourning his loss”.
Now ASDA has shared a message with shoppers. Posting on Facebook, ASDA wrote: "From everyone at Asda, our deepest condolences to Her Majesty The Queen and the Royal Family on the passing of His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh." The post has already racked up over a thousand likes, and hundreds of comments. "Rip so so sad," said one person.
