The Royal Family have been coping with a tremendous loss since Prince Philip’s passing on Friday (9th April). However, as the Queen and the rest of The Firm prepare for The Duke of Edinburgh’s funeral, ITV takes a look at some of Her Majesty’s extended family in the brand new documentary, The Queen and her Cousins.
Hosted by Alexander Armstrong, the show airs tonight (15th April) at 9pm on ITV and reveals the incredibly touching and heartwarming relationship the Queen shares with her goddaughter, Victoria Pryor.
Victoria’s mother, Margaret Rhodes, was Queen Elizabeth’s first cousin, oldest companion and closest friend.They shared a lifelong bond, so the Queen never neglected to send Victoria Christmas presents and often wrote to her.
